Our Company

Who we are:

DTD CAD Consultants was first formed in 1987 with DTD Technologies being formed in 2000 and DTD Communications joining the group recently. These companies have always been synonymous with excellent service.

We have been innovative leaders in the implementation and integration of system solutions, encompassing hardware, software, and networking. At DTD, we work with our clients to engineer new solutions that are important to their future requirements.

Technical leadership and service quality are all essential to ensuring our clients' success. DTD is making a difference in the information technology market by providing various services with our client's interests first. This has been our strategy for success from the very beginning, and it underlies everything we plan to do in the future.

An addition to the family:

In early 2002, a new subsidiary to the DTD group was created and named DTD Communications, Inc.

This entity is made up of, and controlled by, ex-Nortel Networks managers, and is focusing on telecommunication services deployment, training, network planning in the optical, wireless and microwave arenas and product distribution.

DTD Communications, Inc., is now fully integrated into the DTD Group and benefits from all the existing business infrastructure and assets of the DTD group. Since its incorporation DTD Communications, Inc., has been involved in high level business opportunities with European, Middle Eastern and American companies in the areas of wireless, microwave, optical and Gigabit-Ethernet networking solutions. DTD Communications, Inc., also developed Fiber Optic Certification training courses for the Institut International des Télécommunications in Montréal.

Among the strengths of DTD Communications, Inc., are its strong links to industry major players, including Nortel Networks, Celestica, Bell Mobility, Vidéotron, Positron etc., its multilingual language skills and its access to an extended team of engineers and technical experts in both the optical and wireless arenas. In particular, strong engineering and practical field experience in the domains of fiber and microwave product deployment in the access and inter-office networks, as well as in testing and field commissioning activities is available through this extended team.
